It was a hectic time. The baby was disrupting everything at my house. Dad, Mom, or I would have to wake up for midnight feedings, taking turns. Everyone was pitching in. Donna was helping her mom out with Jay.
Before I knew it, over a month had passed. Donna insisted we go out on a date again. No mothers supervising us. They were busy with the babies. It was the first time we had done that. It felt weird pulling up to pick her up.
Her father let me in, a big smile on his face. Donna came running down the stairs, and she held something in her hand. Something I had seen many times. She thrust the pregnancy test out at me, her green eyes brilliant.
There was a pink line in the display.
"You finally did it, Jason," Donna said. "You finally knocked me up! I'm going to be a MILF!"
She threw her arms around my neck and kissed me with such fierceness. Her mother watched behind her, holding our son. Mr. Lemon loomed to my right. I gripped Donna, holding her to me, so thrilled that she was pregnant.
She broke the kiss. "So, you know what this means, right?"
"What?" I panted, my mind reeling.
"Shotgun wedding!" She grinned.
I blinked. "I don't have a ring."
"Better get one. I am not having a bastard." She nuzzled into me. "Time to make me into an honest MILF."
"Well, then, Donna, will you marry me?" I asked her.
"You need to get a ring," she said, shaking her head. "And propose. It has to be a big deal. Like, go viral on TikTok big!"
"Oh," I said, blinking. "Well, I'll think of something.
Donna beamed at me.
