Middle aged man with no formal education in writing.

I joined the military shortly after I graduated from high school with nothing more than "bone head" English classes behind me.
My time in the service was my education, and like most GI's I'd pick up a book (mostly westerns) occasionally to kill time.
However with the advent of the internet, I found I was reading a lot more from news articles to short stories to novels of all genre.

Over 20 years of service, I retired but I feel I'm educated in a lot of life's experiences. I was trained to be confident and I only wish I had that confidence 20-25 years ago.

I don't think I'm all that different from most American men and have an active imagination and fantasize quite a bit, but maybe one difference is I recently started writing those thoughts and fantasies down. Some are loosely based on real life while others are complete fantasy. Yes,I do plan on writing true events but ill never devulge which are which.

I appreciate any and all feedback. I don't judge what people write on here or the subject matter. If I don't find it interesting or even disgusting I won't read or comment. All I ask is the same courtesy.

Anyhow, please say hello or provide feedback. I can only grow as a person and writer (cough cough) I come NO where close to considering myself a writer....yet
