Hi All, Since I posted Threads: The Island on Literotica for you all to read and hopefully enjoy I have been incredibly touched and frankly overwhelmed by the stream of supportive comments and kind words from so many of you over the last 9 years. Sadly, not long after posting the story I became seriously ill. I have since undergone over twenty surgeries, been hospitalized dozens of times and been on more medical treatments than I can count. As you can imagine this had a massive impact on my mental health and I lost interest in any creative pursuits, and I also withdrew from all the friends I had made along the way. 9 years on my life is gradually getting better. At this stage I can't say if I'll ever pick up the Threads stories I wrote so long ago and get them out to you all, but I wanted to say this. Thankyou for every message, every email, every comment and every forum post asking after me, wishing me well, or sharing how much any of you enjoyed my writing. During those times when I was able to read any of them I was honestly overwhelmed by everyone's kindness. I can't say what the future will bring, but I will never forget the response of so many of you who read and enjoyed my work. Thanks, JJ |
