All the Classic Elements

I could absolutely see this playing out as an old black-and-white movie. You kept all the familiar details of a Dracula movie but still managed to make them interesting and fresh with good dialogue, female protagonist, and love triangle undercurrent. Loved the ending.

Good story...fast end.

i really loved the idea of the story, but what could have been a very dramatic ending between the countess and Van Helsing was over too fast. Four pages ages of good story and plot development to be over in a paragraph just felt rushed. Other than that, it really was a great premise for a storyline.

This has been one of my favorites in the contest so far. Your prose is lovely, really keeps the reader present and paints not only images, but emotions. Your dialogue was great, too - it really held the flavor of the time period, which I appreciate. 5* from me. :)

All the elements of a thriller

It was fast-paced and intriguing right from the start. The plot was compelling and the characters kept the reader interested. Most of all, I loved the word use and descriptions.

I think this is the first story of yours I've read and I'll keep an eye out for more.
