Already this new story stirs me down below. The exchange in the church over communion between the weird guy & the boy points toward those two cumming together soon. The man surely wants him...Not for anything "Christian" that's for sure.

Beautiful setting of the scene. I love Asher (angels who are juuuuust about to fall are a thing for me, for lots of reasons) and how easily you get across his worldview through narration and dialogue.

Got a little shiver when the stranger complimented him for his service. Lots of nice tension early on, and I look forward to the build as much as the eventual release.
