This story was, as usual, brilliant. Honestly speaking, the part where she confesses her feelings to Mark was a bit bland (you have dizzying standards to live up to) but the song sequence was inspired. I absolutely love that you won't leave the story at it's 'happily ever after' end. Awesome storyline, awesome story.

No way will I not find out what happens to Mark and Megan! As for this chapter. Well done, as someone else said, Megan's confessing of her love was not overly inspiring(but I think you knew that hence The Finale) but to also repeat the same poster, The use of the song Broken was very well done! Can't wait for the Finale, looking forward to the return of the Voice!

Fuck. I've gone through hell and back with these characters. I vote for the finale, even though I'm sure it's going to kill me.

Anyways, this chapter was way too soft. I love a good romance story here and there but YOU'RE Lovecraft! I expected something really nasty twisted! haha.

I've spent way too much time reading and waiting, I say finish the story like its meant to be finished. I will be waiting for your final chapter!

This story isn't anything I would normally read here, on many levels. But since I read ch 1, I've been hooked on these characters. The depth of the relationship between M/M, their trials and struggles, all of it has kept me coming back.

While I'm happy Megan finally admitted her feelings to Mark and they're together, this can't be the ending. Same as the others, I will be waiting for The Finale.

Do you really think we will let you off that easily?

Ok, so I have to be truthful, you lost me in the 20's somewhere when I desperately wanted to leave the past and get to the present so when I saw 'SWB The Finale Part 3' I had to check in. I couldn't stop reading it and then backtracked to this. I now will want to check out what I missed. Of course, I am dying for 'Part 4' of the finale but I pray the darkness in you doesn't leave us with a dead Mark! :) But, I can't just stop here and pretend it's roses b/c that's just fooling yourself if you know there is more.

I give you credit for not writing what everyone wants and for following your own vision whether it's popular or not, story driven at some points or not, and not rose-colored all the time. I do hope that we're not left with a broken heart after all this, along with Megan. But, hopefully he'll survive. I really enjoyed Part 3 of the finale and thought it was one of the best of the SWB stories.

I have to say, I'm not even sure what got me to even try the story initially b/c this is not one of my frequented categories. But, I'm glad I did end up reading it. Thanks for the ride, past and the ones to come.

Absolutely an amazing story! Once i started reading i could not stop even to the point of staying up way past being tired cause i just had to read the next chapter. Thank you so much for staying with what you wanted to write and not falling back on just giving some people what they wanted thinking we all felt that way. This is by far one of the best stories i have read on this site or will ever read for that matter. You should publish this master piece so others can read the amazing adventures.

Now with that said i will say i believe you spent too much time in the past. But again write what you fell needs written and just all us to follow the journey.

Lex Talionis was also an amazing story. Loved to see things from Marks POV and finally get to learn what made the darkest and weirdest character in Lit tick. Am favoriting you just so i can follow the amazing stories that i hope you will continue to write.

Is there any way to read the finally on any other site besides the you posted, some of us do not have a way or will to pay to read a story.

FUCKING FINALY! You did a good job, few stories can enthrall me like this one did. Even if, in my boob, you did a big mistake when you put the present up first, cause then you kind of spoiled the story, and i found myself skipping many parts cause i already knew what would happen in the end.

When is the finale going to be posted? I have followed this story from the very beginning and before long found myself absolutely enthralled! i have some ideas for some stories but unfortunately i dont have a lot of spare time to take them any further than that! I guess it is time I addressed this. The 5 chapter finale of SWB was posted here in October of 2011. However two chapters were reported(months later) and subsequently banned by lit for extreme violence and assorted nastiness. I finished this a few days ago and have been in limbo every since! It was such a beautiful ending for two characters I have totally fallen in love with. I've been going back and re-reading some of my favourite moments ever since. I did debate whether or not to go on to The Finale because I couldn't bear the thought of something going wrong and just wanted to revel in their happiness forever, happily ever after because god they deserve it and I'm a sucker for a happy ending. There's so much I have loved about this entire story, and I did go over and get my copy of The Finale in the end, I just had to know - I'll leave my review there :) Seether's 'Broken' is one of my favourite songs and I think it's PERFECT for these guys, in fact, ironically I look at Amy Lee and think, man, she'd make a beautiful Megan. I know I will come back and read this story often, and I don't say that about many stories/books, I have a very select few that are ones I keep. I'll be purchasing all the ebook versions very soon so I can have them forever! Because I didn't have to wait for chapters, I haven't read Lex Talionis yet, so I'm off to do that next, and looking forward to it, though I have to say, Mark and Megan focused stories are what I'd be looking for, but I will be reading the rest of your writing just to see if I get caught up in anyone else too :) Bravo, fabulous writing, and once again, I'm in love. Thank you for sharing the story of Mark and Megan with us.

So I'm fairly certain you had a Part 6 for Lex Talonis and parts 40-42 for Siblings with Benefits but I do not see them, any chance you'll resubmit them?

Okay so I waited until I finished the series before commenting since you wrote this so long ago that it wouldn't have made a difference commenting before anyway.

Overall it's a great story. Good characters, the sex is great, the plot sucks you in, etc.

But for the love of all that is holy, if you are going to call yourself a writer, you absolutely MUST learn proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.

There, they're, and their are three different words. As are threw and through, and your and you're (that was the worst one).

Lied down is not a thing. Sorry. "Lied" is the past tense of "lie", as in not telling the truth, not "lie", as in lie down. The words you were looking for are "lay" or "laid", depending on the context.

Please learn how to use a comma, a period, and a semi-colon. The run-on sentences were so bad that many times I had to re-read a sentence 3 or 4 times to understand what you were trying to say.

So in summary:

The story: Excellent. A+. Well done you!

The English: I wanted to stab myself in the eye with a sharpened stick.

Please get an editor. And thank you for writing this. :)

Spent the past few days reading the series. Epic, one of the best stories on this website that I've read. The length obviously kills it for many who are just here for a quick cum, but the depth you have Mark and Megan and their world is wonderful.

Very good series. But there are so many things that are troubling to me. The violence and sex part don't bother me. But Man Megan could have saved herself so much damn heartache if she just got out of her own damn way. Always overthinking when she obviously doesn't have the brain capacity for it.

I would really love to read the finale because the story is obviously unfinished, but I won't pay for it unless there is another way to read it. I get it, I just won't do it. My guess as to what happens in the finale is this, the mom knows she has been dropping subtle hints the whole way. Dad doesn't like it but is forced by mom. Things go well for awhile and everything seems great then something horrible happens to Mark that Megan feels responsible for and tries to save her brother by getting away from him, which is a recurring theme. She falls again on hard times because she left her brother and then when they are about to get back together, Mark probably dies.

But that's my guess, I'll never know unless it gets released on here. If it's too violent for the website maybe take out a few things or explain them in far less detail.

I normally avoid novel length stories because I get too wrapped up and miss real life. I am glad I made an exception for this one. But I have been distracted for over a week and need to get back to my life.

LC68, you achieved your objective of making M/M as real to me as they are to you (well ... almost). I definitely found myself engaged in understanding the inner battles both characters were fighting. Really well done on your part; the descriptions and details, why they think about circumstances as they do... I enjoyed your story immensely.

Every chapter has editing errors. Homonyms and tense are a problem throughout. Other minor spelling and punctuation mistakes are common. Simple “if” instead of “is” type oversights show up often. And in the chapters from Mark’s POV the use of “his” when it should read “my” or “mine” (I didn’t notice this issue so much in most of the story). Still, those issues don’t detract from the readability or enjoyability of this erotic tale with a deep and dark undertone.

Well, l am 85 and had tears flowing in a couple of places. With roughly knowing the probable outcome, it was difficult reading all the flashbacks to get to the ending that I had perceived was coming. And then to read that more exists, that I have to go elsewhere to read really pisses me off. I am satisfied with this ending, so I’ll just thank you for a fun read and go on to some of your other stuff. And one more thing-it pisses me off to have to go to a new site AND pay to read more.
